Pollarise – Community Guidelines

Last updated: November 2025

Pollarise is a space built for real-time opinions, quick choices, hot takes, and surprisingly wholesome debates. To keep the community fun, safe, and welcoming for everyone, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines.

Nothing too heavy — just the basics that make Pollarise… Pollarise.

1. Keep it respectful

We love bold opinions — not personal attacks.

No harassment, hate speech, targeted insults, or anything that makes someone feel unsafe. Disagree with ideas, not people.

  1. No harmful or dangerous content

Avoid posting or encouraging anything that involves:

• Self-harm or suicide

• Violence or threats

• Dangerous activities or instructions

• Promotion of extremist groups or ideologies

Keep it thoughtful. Keep it human.

3. No explicit or adult content

Pollarise isn’t the place for sexual content, graphic nudity, or anything NSFW.

Save the spicy stuff for… literally anywhere else.

4. No discrimination — ever

Content that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or nationality is strictly off-limits.

Zero tolerance. No debates here.

4. Keep polls meaningful (and not spammy)

We’re all for fun and randomness — but keep it intentional.

Avoid:

• Spammy polls

• Repetitive posting

• Low-effort or misleading questions

• Polls that impersonate brands, people, or organizations

If you’re posting just to annoy… we’ll notice.

6. No misinformation or fake claims

Don’t spread false info, manipulated facts, or conspiracy theories presented as truth — especially around health, politics, safety, public figures, or major events.

If it can mislead people, it shouldn’t be here.

7. Protect your privacy (and others’)

Do not share:

• Private info

• Personal data

• Phone numbers, addresses, emails

• Screenshots of private conversations without permission

Think before you post. Oversharing is not a superpower.

8. Report issues — don’t escalate them

If you see something off, harmful, or sketchy: report it.

Our moderation team (and system) will handle it.

No need to fight battles in the comments.

9. We may remove, restrict, or warn

If content breaks these guidelines, we may:

• Remove the poll

• Limit posting abilities

• Issue a warning

• Suspend or ban accounts in extreme cases

We keep things fair, transparent, and community-first.

10. Have fun. Seriously.

Pollarise is built for quick discoveries, unexpected opinions, and conversations you didn’t know you needed. Post responsibly, engage kindly, and enjoy the chaos — the good kind.

  1. International Data Transfers

Your information may be stored or processed in countries outside your residence. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data.

If you ever feel unsure, just ask yourself:

“Would I say this in a room full of people I don’t know?”

If yes → post away.

If no → maybe hold that thought.
